Admissions
Applying for College is a significant decision that demands careful consideration. We value your time and aim to streamline our application process to ensure a seamless experience. Before you click the "Apply Now" button, here are a few key points to keep in mind.
We welcome applications year-round, but we recommend submitting your application at least four weeks before the scheduled start date. Accepted students are assigned the next available seat in their chosen program. However, some programs may have admissions dates up to a year in advance, so applying early is highly recommended! Regardless of the program, all students become proud members of SoutheastHEALTH College of Nursing & Health Sciences.
If you are a high school student, you can apply once you complete your junior year. If you are interested in taking specific courses without enrolling in a full program, you can apply as a Community Student.
What happens after you submit your application?
There's still more to do! Ensure that all your official transcripts are sent to us (don't forget to reach out to your High School Counselor or Bursar/Registrar's office). You will also need to provide any other required documentation, such as your LPN or Paramedic license (if applicable).
Many of our programs require a TEAS score, which we accept if it is no older than two years from your application date. Learn more about the TEAS exam, locations for testing, and the minimum score required for each program.
Once all the necessary materials are submitted, your application will be reviewed by the appropriate program director. In most cases, once you receive an email confirming that your application is under review, you can begin setting up your CastleBranch account. CastleBranch facilitates background checks and allows students to upload their vaccination records.
We are genuinely honored by your decision to apply to our college. It would be our privilege to support you in achieving your academic and professional healthcare goals. If you have any further questions regarding admissions, please feel free to contact Jeremy Waterbury at jwaterbury@sehcollege.edu or 573.334.6825 ext. 2215.
